Kentaa is available for non-profit foundations/associations/institutions registered at the Dutch, Belgian or German Chamber of Commerce, with a general social objective. Dutch organisations must have an ANBI-status.
You can raise funds for a charity if they have a Kentaa site. You cannot create a site on their behalf.
Our basic plans for Event Fundraising, Crowdfunding and Peer to Peer Fundraising are free, with the exception of payment provider costs that the provider charges for donations.
Kentaa relies on voluntary contributions from your donors to (continue to) help charity organisations.
Our PLUS plans are an additional 99 euros a month (vat included).
Our Premium plans have different pricing.
Starting your own Kentaa site only takes a couple of minutes. After you've signed up, we need a few documents from your organisation that we will check within a workday. Once they're checked and approved, you can receive donations. Depending on how fast you provide those documents, you can be up and running within a workday.
The voluntary contribution is part of the donation form for both our basic and PLUS plans. It can not be switched off.
Our Premium plans do not have a voluntary contribution step.
Before you can receive donations, we need a few details and documents from your organisation:
- a copy or screenshot of a bank statement from your organisation, no older than three months
- a copy of a valid ID of your organisation's chairman and secretary or another authorised person (as known at the chamber of commerce)
- a CoC excerpt, no older than 3 months
- a copy of your organisation's statutes
You can enter these details and add your files via the Kentaa Dashboard.
We will make a payout within four weeks after the end of the month (donations received in May will be paid out in June), after payment provider costs have been withheld.
Sites made with our basic and PLUS plans are all hosted by Kentaa on a Kentaa domain. With our Premium plan, you can opt for a custom domain.
