Get to know Maks and Lizzy: Kentaa's new Sales Consultants
Two new Sales Consultants have joined the Kentaa team: Maks Jorritsma en Lizzy Kreeftmeijer. They're all set to help non-profit organisations make the right online fundraising choices. We would like to introduce them to you.
Maks Jorritsma
Maks' journey started in Dokkum, the Netherlands' northernmost city. Now, 27 years later, he lives in Amsterdam with his girlfriend Mariëlla.
Maks has a lot of hobbies, some would say a little too many. “I see myself as a real people person. I like sparring with other people to reach our common goals. The Sales Consultant position at Kentaa is an ideal opportunity to do just that. I look forward to helping organisations that use the Kentaa-platform (and those that don't) reach their goals (goals that really matter)!”
Maks studied Business Administration and found himself especially interested in the Marketing and Sales side of it all, particularly what moves people to make certain choices. After finishing his courses he worked in direct sales (door-to-door) for non-profit organisations and corporate organisations. “I developed a liking for sales in the charitable sector. I'm an advocate for online business and crowdfunding, which makes Kentaa a great match and a good place to develop myself and help Kentaa work on its plan for the future. There are a lot of great initiatives in this country that all deserve more attention. I would like to help their initiators to make the world a better place.”
Lizzy Kreeftmeijer
Lizzy is 30 years old and hails from Utrecht. Discovering the world and singing are her biggest passions. “Throughout my years on the podium, I've learned how to entertain people, make a connection and convey a strong message, all while making sure it's a good time!. I'm grateful for every day and try to make the most of each.”
“Sales comes naturally to me: I love being a sparring partner to people to find the best solution for them. Especially if that leads to a better world. I've been on the other side of the table as well: I was fundraiser for SOS Kinderdorpen for two years. I focussed on F2F fundraising, but also helped set up a fundraising event using the Kentaa-platform. A clear transformation is happening in the way people want to contribute to charity; the connection between offline and online is made more often, which I like. Kentaa gives me the opportunity to help others make this connection in a more engaging, innovative, flexible and fun way!”
Lizzy studied at the conservatory and also completed Criminology studied at Leiden University. During her studies, she worked for multiple charities at a Direct Dialogue bureau. For six years, she worked for Cliniclowns in Curacao. You might think, as a graduated, singing criminologist, she's lost her way a little. But the thread through everything she does is her intent to better the world. This lady has a charitable heart and knows what she's doing!
